The Clinic Nursing Supervisor is a member of the working team, providing triage, anticoagulation, and other advanced nursing services, i.e. IV insertion, medication administration, port flushing, etc. as needed. Under the direction of the Director of Clinic Services, oversees nursing activities in the clinic, ensures that staff have the tools/supplies needed to successfully complete their jobs, provides direction to staff, supervises clinic staffing, assists with personnel issues, including hiring and assists with performance evaluations. Leads other projects and does other duties, as assigned.
This posting for for a .8 FTE and will work primarily at the Ingalls Clinic.
Qualifications: Education and Licensure
Current RN license
Prior clinic, medical/surgical, urgen care center or emergency room experience preferred; Anticoagulation certification and experience preferred; Minimum on year leadship-type experience.

Plans for delivery of optimum patient care, assesses and delivers patient care based on department and facility standards.
Manages patient telephone calls, including triage calls, and completes paperwork.
Communicates and collaborates with technical experts/managers of Patient Access, Lab, DI and other support staff to solve technical or process issues at the Community Clinic.
Assists the Director of Clinic Services to evaluate subordinate work; completes annual performance evaluations with the assistance of the Director.
Supervises, directs, and handles employee-relations issues for the Clinic nursing staff. This includes scheduling (ensuring all assignments are complete and appropriate for staff), planning, identifying developmental and training needs for staff, and offering instruction, as necessary.
Implements and evaluates standards of nursing practice and other internal and external regulatory requirements. Complies with all federal, state, and accrediting regulatory standards.
Other projects as assigned by the Director of Clinic Services.
